The Calvert Catholic 2011 football team is Ohio's Smartest High school team. The 2011 Senecas received All-Ohio in Academics. This number one ranking for Calvert Catholic High School is a great achievement. Congratulations to all the football team members, coaches, school officials, school staff, and football staff.

Final Score: Notre Dame 14 Florida State 18

It was announced Sunday night the Notre Dame Fighting Irish will be playing in the Champs Sports Bowl. Notre Dame will be the designated home team and will play the Florida State Seminoles. Notre Dame and Florida State both have an 8-4 record on the season and have played each other six times pryer to this match up. Florida State lead the series 4-2 with the last meeting in 2003, FSU beat ND 37-0. The Champs Sports bowl is scheduled for December 29, 2011 at 5:30pm and can be seen nationally on ESPN. This game will be the second bowl game for ND under second year head coach Brian Kelly.
