Notre Dame to play St. Cloud State

The Notre Dame hockey team will play St. Cloud State Saturday, in Toledo, Ohio, in the Midwest Hockey Tournament. Notre Dame enters the tournament after winning the CCHA cup last Sunday, beating Michigan 3-1. St. Cloud enters the tournament with a fourth seed and an overall record of 23-15-1. Notre Dame enters the tournament in the top seed with an overall record of 25-12-3. The Huskies and the Irish have met a total of ten times and the series is tied at 5-5-0. The winner of this game advances to play the winner of the Miami (Ohio) and Minnesota State game. The winner of the Midwest Tournament will play in the frozen four.
