Earlier it was announced that the Miami Hurricanes and Notre Dame will resume play in 2012. Miami and Notre Dame are two teams that know each other very well because they are rivals. Many of their meetings in the pasts often decided who would be the next national champion. The countdown is on, these two teams will meet October 6, 2012 at Solider Field in Chicago, with a home and home series to follow. The two teams will then take a break and resume play in 2016 with ND being the home team then in 2017 ND will travel to sunny south Florida for a match up with the hurricanes.
