Tiffin Saints

In a press release Tiffin mayor, Aaron Montz, announced that in 2014 Tiffin will be home to a semi-professional baseball team which will be know as the Tiffin Saints. The Saints will be part of the Independent Baseball League. The teams that make up the league will consist of teams from Marion Ohio, Dayton Ohio, and Oakland County Michigan. The owner of the league is also in talks with the Columbus and Detroit area about developing teams to join the league. As of now the schedule is to be made up of 36 games total, with 18 of them to be home games. More information about the Tiffin Saints can be found on the Advertiser-Tribune website.
