ND Soccer crowned the 2013 National Champs

On Sunday, the Notre Dame men's soccer team claimed the 2013 NCAA division one nation championship title. ND beat the Maryland Terrapins 2-1 in the championship game. This is the first time the Irish have won the national title, in soccer, in the school's history. Their overall record was 17-1-6. The Terrapins and the Irish met for a regular season conference match on October 8, 2013 with the match ending in a tie. Congratulations to the Fighting Irish Men's Soccer team for winning the National Championship.
